Love all the little shops within the Cotton Exchange! There is everything from hot sauces-my son purchased a few bottles and they are fabulous. The gentleman that helped my son(I think he was the owner)was super knowledgeable about the sauces in the shop. He asked my son what kind of flavors he liked and made suggestions for him. You can have samples of the different sauces which is very nice.They are super delicious! You can also find eclectic jewelry and clothing to flavored olive oil and vinegars. I have purchased different Balsamic vinegars at The Olive Shop and we love them so much! They also offer sample flavors which is so great to be able to decide based on the actual flavor profile and not just imagine what they will taste like😋 While we were there, I purchased a very pretty ring at Gems4U, a nice little shop of handmade one of a kind pieces. I have several necklace pieces like the gems in this shop and I love them all, so when I saw the ones here, I had to check them out. There are beautiful wire wrapped pendants with all kinds of gems, sea glass and fossils. There are gem beaded bracelets and cool rings. My son got a cool snake ring gift for his girlfriend and I purchased this purple heart 💜 ring for myself. Make sure to stop at this shop and see Mary who creates the most beautiful pieces, she is super sweet and very knowledgeable about her products. Very happy with our purchases! I just wanted to buy them all🥰😍Don't miss out on visiting The Cotton Exchange👍🏻

Fun place to shop & get coffee in downtown Wilmington. Easy to park in their paid lot & if you have your parking receipt validated by a merchant, your parking could be free.

Great place to go if you want to see some unique shops. Has a nice cafe to get a snack and coffee. They also have their own parking lot which is pretty affordable if you want to skip street parking.

Lovely collection of shops and restaurants in a historic building. Easy parking by the River walk. If you purchase something from one of the shops you can get your parking validated which is a nice perk, just park in the lot for the Cotton Exchange.

The Cotton Exchange in Wilmington is a wonderful place to explore, shop, and soak in local charm. The historic buildings are beautifully preserved and full of character, making it a unique and enjoyable spot to walk around. There’s a great mix of local boutiques, specialty shops, and eateries, so there’s something for everyone. The atmosphere is lively yet relaxed, and it’s perfectly located near the riverwalk, making it an easy stop while sightseeing downtown. A must-visit destination that truly captures the spirit of Wilmington!

Cute shopping experience with something for everyone. So many shops, so many levels, so many nice people working in the shops. Lots of unique items. I wish I could remember the T-shirt shop name. Good quality and funny shirts!

I was traveling in Wilmington and had an opportunity to stop in for a haircut. I had a hard time getting there after work, but they happily agreed to stay late for me. Got a great haircut and will absolutely go back again.

I love the cotton exchange at Christmas time. We did some holiday shopping, I found stocking stuffers, we had lunch at Paddy's Hollow (the fried okra is SO good) and we ran into the Grinch for a picture.

We were recommended the Cotton Exchange as a place to see in Wilmington. We passed by an art gallery, a clothing store, and a coffeehouse inside there. We didn't spend much time there, yet we enjoyed browsing the stores there. It was a brief walk from our hotel and a place to explore. January 24, 2026
